Every wig we make is made to measure, so an accurate head measurement helps us get your fit just right. It only takes a minute.
What you'll need
- A soft, flexible tape measure (the kind used for sewing)
- A mirror, or someone to help you
No tape measure? Use a piece of string or ribbon, mark where it meets, then measure it against a ruler.
How to measure
- Prepare your hair. Wear your hair as flat as possible, the way you would under a wig.
- Start at the front. Place the end of the tape at the centre of your front hairline.
- Go around the side. Bring the tape around the side of your head, just above your ear.
- Go around the back. Take it around the back of your head, at the nape of your neck where your hair ends.
- Come back to the start. Bring it around the other side, above your ear, back to where you started.
- Read the measurement. The tape should sit snugly without being tight. Note the measurement in centimetres.
Top tips
- Measure twice to make sure you get the same number.
- If you're between measurements, give us the larger one.
- Not sure? Get in touch and we'll be happy to help.
